Case Study

This time, we learned some cases for social media and how companies use it to marketing themselves. 

For our group, we need to figure out how companies marketing themselves on Facebook. They have several different ways to do that, such as pages, ads and groups. And these kind of ways all have advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, different company has different preference. There is no the most effective of them. It's all depends.

In this case, we learned a new concept-landing pages. It's the page your website visitors arrive at after clicking on a link. It could be your home page, or any other page in your site. There are many companies have"landing pages" on Facebook. After browsing them, we find Coach is the best one and Starbucks has more can to approve. If we were the pages maker, we'd like to add some pictures for Starbucks store in different country. Or take some pictures for the coffee bean land, and show how healthy our product is. What's more, we might post some beautiful stories on it, and update that. After that, people may come back to the pages.

From the case study, I've got a lot of inspiration about how to use social media. It's really help me a lot.
